Read along below where we shine a light on what you can expect from an AC install with Bob’s Heating & Air Conditioning.

On-Site Visit

The AC installation process begins long before the unit is ever brought onto your property. If we have been to your home before, we will send one of our sales representatives to first conduct an in-depth analysis of your home to determine the most suitable AC unit for your needs. The size and layout of your house and your cooling preferences all factor into our considerations. So, you can expect Bob's Heating & Air Conditioning's professional AC installation team to pay a visit for an on-site assessment and consultation.

However, if we have been to your home then it’s possible we may be able to skip this step and provide you with a free estimate of an AC installation right over the phone! As one of the biggest and best HVAC contractors in Western Washington, we’ve partnered with many home builders to install furnaces in thousands of new construction homes. If your home falls into this category, then we already have your home’s sizing and furnace info to be able to sell you AC right over the phone—no need for an in-person estimate!

The AC Installation

Once we’ve determined the ideal unit for your home, the next step is the AC installation itself. During this phase, your old unit (if any) will be safely removed and disposed of, then the new AC will be carefully installed in its designated spot, with all wiring and ductwork meticulously set up to ensure the system functions at peak performance. Of course, this is the most exciting part of the air conditioner installation process for many homeowners because it's when you start to see the fruits of your investment!

We will conduct a series of tests to ensure everything works as it should, inspecting the overall HVAC system and verifying that all electrical connections are safe and secure and the cooling function works well. We will consider our job complete once we're confident your new air conditioner is in excellent working order.

We’ll also walk you through the operation and maintenance of your new AC unit, explaining features, controls, and recommended maintenance routines to ensure you're well-equipped to make the most of your new cooling system.

Post-Installation Support

One of the most significant benefits of working with Bob's Heating & Air Conditioning's professional team for your air conditioner installation, is our commitment to our clients. We’re committed to post-installation service, too, and understand that your AC system may require adjustment or service over time, so we’re ready to stand behind our work with our Guardian Maintenance Plans.
